THE GIFT OF PAUSE: HOW TO DESIGN A MIDLIFE YOU LOVE

In this session, we will enjoy lunch as we explore the essential questions:

  • How do I find my way through this new chapter of life?

  • What is my purpose & where do I find joy?

  • What life do I want for my future self?

  • How can I write an amazing next chapter for myself?

This session will challenge traditional narratives around menopause, midlife, and aging. As we reframe old tropes and negative stereotypes, we think about how we can pause with purpose instead of concern, confusion, or dread.

To shift to a positive mindset and plan for the fabulous post-menopause you, we will leverage the extensive research and literature of Carol Dweck, Martin Seligman, Bill Burnett, Dave Evans, Brene Brown, and Kristin Neff. You will have an opportunity to reflect on the amazing things you want to do in your Chapter 2. What will you try in midlife? What will you focus on without the emotional weights that held you back in previous decades?

In this session, you will develop the tools to think differently about midlife and menopause. And together, we will learn to embrace this period as an exciting catalyst to reclaiming our joy and purpose.
